Minutes of the CPRB Meeting Held on March 23, 2010 (Mtg. No. 124)

Ms. Hinton announced Mr. Bingler’s resignation effective following the June 22, 2010 board meeting; Ms. Hinton asked the board to consider establishing an ongoing community forum and encouraged the Board to create a panel comprised of police rank and file, community members and youth; Ms. Hinton reported on the expiring terms of all Council and Mayoral board member seats; Ms. Hinton publicly thanked Solicitor, Hugh McGough for his successful presentation during the hearing held by Judge Wettick, who ruled in CPRB’s favor with regards to enforcement of a subpoena to turn over G-20 documents; Discussion was held with an emphasis on Reverend Burgess’s bills regarding the Jordan Miles Police Reform Agenda; 15 cases were reviewed.

“On this 18th day of March, 2010, it is hereby ORDERED that the Motion to Enforce Compliance With Subpoena issued to Nathan E. Harper, Chief of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, is granted and the documents described in this Subpoena shall be produced within twenty (20) days. Specific documents may be withheld if identified in a Privilege Log.”
