This hearing is an opportunity for people to express to you their impressions of Pittsburgh police. All complainants who were moved by the Board to the “Rude & Discourteous” class were individually invited by letter. Advertisements, flyers, and word-of-mouth informed the general public. The Board set the date for this hearing at its regularly scheduled Board meeting on March 23, 2010. The last hearing of this nature was 9/18/2006. Pre-registration was available to speakers.
