On TUESDAY, APRIL 9, 2019 at 9:30 am at 2201 Wylie Avenue (15219) the Black Political Empowerment Project (B-PEP) and the Citizens Police Review Board (CPRB) hosted a press conference in partnership with the NAACP Pittsburgh Branch and the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh to announce a major commitment from the leadership of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, the Allegheny County Police Department, the Port Authority of Allegheny County, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office, and the Wilkinsburg Police Department which we hope will contribute to improving safety and community relations in the area.
