Ms. Walker, Chair, announced that due to increasing demands related to the completion of her doctoral work she would be resigning from the Board, effective July 31, 2012. Pursuant to discussion generated by the Odell Brown incident, Pittinger offered to prepare an informative briefing on SWAT and critical incident protocols involving armed actors. Mr. Waters stated that “no one asked for such a briefing”. Ms. Roberts encouraged members to attend the Citizen Police academy.
