Whether you were offended by the officer’s language, temper, perceived discourtesy or incivility, or refusal to identify him/herself, now is the time to tell your story.
The Citizen Police Review Board will hold a public hearing regarding rude and discourteous conduct displayed by some Pittsburgh police officers. The hearing will be virtual, on Tuesday December 6th, 2022 at 6pm.
If you wish to participate, please register at cprbpgh.org or call 412-765-8023 by December 1st to pre-register and be placed on the agenda. You will have 3 minutes to tell the Board about what happened to you. This is necessary to permit reasonable access to everyone and to manage the time of the hearing.
Your perspective and opinion on police conduct in the City of Pittsburgh is very important to us. The Board will convey to the Chief of Police an opinion on the public’s perception of police conduct with recommendations designed to improve the relationship between the Pittsburgh Police and the community.
If you have any questions, feel free to call 412-765-8023 or email at cprb@pittsburghpa.gov.
The Board’s regular public meeting will follow immediately after the hearing.
